How can i increase my tolerance of pain?

people tell me i have a very high tolerance of pain but i watched a documentary about the spetznaz and was wondering how i can increase ny tolerance and some of the Technics they used. enlisting in the near future and i am currently in ROTC.

What’s causing my severe pain during and after a run?

During my jog i began experiencing severe pain in my right lower abdomen, closer to my hips. Why is this? I stopped my run and began walking and it was so painful I could hardly walk and I had to sit down. After sitting down for a few minutes I managed to walk home, and here I am. It still hurts a bit but not like it did during the run. Why did I endure this pain?

Ive had back pain for a few months now why?

I know no one can answer fully unless they are a doctor but would be greatful if anyone had any ideas?

For the past few months ive had pain all the time but sometimes its only abit noticable. the worst is when im sitting or laying down. My sister has spina bifida. Is there any chance i could also have it or would they have found it when i was younger?? We are close in age & i am only a tiny bit taller than her(5′3). I havent done any injury to my back but suddenly one day i had really bad pain & just hasnt gone away. Somedays i can have time when i hardly feel it where other times it can be really painful. I have been to my docs who didnt think anything of it & just advised to see a massager.

The pain is at the bottom on my spine & a tad on each side near the muscle. It could just be muscle pain but surely wouldnt last this long & be on my spine?? Its just abit above the tail bone. I have felt my spine & where the pain is i do have a slight curve instead of going straight down but unsure if this would be abmormal?

I ought to go back to my doctor but didnt want to keep going back if its only muscular which i can get something for….. Thanks!

Nerve pain in foot and leg – the best cure…. and or medicine to cure or alleviate this pain?

I broke my femur many years ago and as a result had dropped foot. Now that my foot has begun working, I still have a nerve that sends back tingling pain across my foot.

I take some medication to help lower this pain, yet it is still bad.

Can I ever find a cure for nerve pain? What is the best medicine to use? Is there anything homeopathic that I can use? Is there anything I can do to stop this pain?

High heel pain at prom?

I just bought these shoes to wear to prom. They’re super cute.

The only thing is, every year at prom, my feet end up killing me and I always take my shoes off. This ends up making my dress a little longer, and it gets trampled on and torn! :[ This year, I want to be able to wear my shoes all night! My prom is on April 23rd, so that gives me time to wear them around, but I still want them to look new on prom night.
Any suggestions on how to keep my feet from hurting?

Foot problem, can i still run?

I play soccer and have been training hard in the weight room and on the field. As a result both my right big toenail is 1/2 black, while my left big toenail just looks dead and is loose, probably about to fall off. Can i still run and plan soccer once it has fallen off? should i see a doctor?

Pain relief for peripheral neuropathy????

My boyfriend gets pain, numbness, tingles and such in his left foot. I really don't want him to become solely dependant on his medications. He takes additional supplements such as B-12 but is there anything that I can do to help????

How does a Morton's Neuroma act?

I need some SERIOUS ONLY answers, & preferably from a doctor. For about 2 years now I have had a terrible pain in the tops of my feet, and the trouble is that it differs from day to day. One day it is a tingling sensation, the next a burning, then there is nerve-twitching, and finally cramping to the point it will literally raise my leg off the bed at night. It also seems to go diagonally from the outside of my foot to the inside. When I go to a podiatrist to have my toenails cut (a former fungus makes them too thick to cut myself), I literally CRINGE and grab the arms of the chair when he cuts the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th nails. I have tried cortisone shots, but they last only 3 days maximum, if it works at all. He told me it could possibly be a Morton's Neuroma, and the picture I saw on the internet shows it going diagonally and between the 2nd and 4th toes.
I DO have degenerative arthritis in the soles of my feet, but the pain I have is only on the tops. If I go to an orthopedist, all they see is my weight. I am practically living on Excedrin for the pain (sometimes average 6 a day taken every 4-6 hours). I am to the point I want to amputate my feet. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE!!

Good cream for feet bottom?

My feet are peeling at the bottom, and their really dry. I tried using normal hand cream, but it didn't help or make any difference. They also sting a bit when I step into really hot or cold water. What's a good cream I can use? and is there any suggestions on how to stop my feet from getting dry and peeling?
